For many, the Gold Standard for wedding glamour is the weddings of Hollywood celebrities. While most of us cannot hope to ever reach the level of excess these celebrities take, we can certainly dream, can’t we? Here are some of the top Hollywood celebrities’ weddings of 2013.
Aaron Paul, who plays “Jessie” on “Breaking Bad”, got married just this month. He and his girlfriend of several years, Lauren Parsekian, got married at the Calamigos Ranch located in Malibu California. She wore a Cinderella gown designed by Armsale. Music was provided by John Mayer, with Foster the People also participating. Not only did David Blaine perform at their reception, but they also had a full sized Ferris wheel for the guests.
Adriana De Moura, who is on “Real Housewives of Miami”, got married in May, as well. She and her long-time boyfriend got married in Coral Gables, FL, and had their reception at the famous Biltmore Hotel. Adriana’s princess gown was an orgasm of tulle in the palest lavender with a lace almost-see-through bodice. A lacy shawl that draped gracefully over one shoulder completed the look as her chapel length train fluffed behind her. Frederiq Marq, her groom, was dressed in an all-white tux.
Shenae Grimes and Josh Beech got married this May. Tulle is the big thing this year, present in Shenae’s dress, as well. Her halter top gown had a white skirt with a black halter and black tulle abundantly covering the entire dress. Her groom wore a nice black 3 piece suit. As with the previous two marriages mentioned here, her gown was floor length.
In Southern France, Keira Knightley and James Righton – her long-time boyfriend – got married with just a few close friends and family in attendance. Keira wore a knee-length full skirt of – you got it – tulle. The gown had a strapless, wrap-type bodice and a jacket by famed designer Chanel. In lieu of a veil, she wore daisies. Her groom wore a navy suit with a narrow, too-short tie and – white socks? Actually, she looked beautiful except for the apparent binding across her chest which looked painful. He looked like a little kid who had outgrown his dress clothes.
Yep, camouflage made an appearance this year in the wedding circuit. “Mama June”, the mother of “Honey Boo Boo” married her long-time boyfriend, “Sugar Bear”. Her gathered gown was – what else – camo patterned. Sugar Bear wore a black shirt, camo pants, and an orange vest. Honey Boo Boo herself wore a cute little orange and pink dress made of – tulle. The reception was a barbecue in their back yard.
The tent wedding of the century was in April of this year. Michael Jordan finally tied the knot with his beautiful, long-term girlfriend Yvette Prieto. The reception was held in a huge, beautiful tent lined in – tulle. While 500 people attended the wedding in his house, there were 2000 people at the tent reception. Her gown, however, was an incredible, beautiful, body-hugging play of lace that buttoned all the way up the low-cut back. Michael wore a black tux. Performers were Robin Thicke, K’Jon, and Usher.
